Proexport and its associated companies will have a special role this year during Fruit Attraction, with the organization of Lettuce Attraction, a multi-event that will offer the best of the world of lettuce and salads to the visitors and media present there: interesting audiovisual materials, professional conferences and debates, B2B business meetings, refreshing show cookings, exhibitors and a variety garden, and some surprise yet to be revealed.
Lettuce will be the star product of Fruit Attraction 2023 and IFEMA has entrusted this outstanding work to Proexport, which already organized the first edition of Lettuce Attraction with great success in 2017, as it is the fruit and vegetable association that brings together the majority of Spanish lettuce production in all its varieties.
Mariano Zapata, president of Proexport, has highlighted that “organizing this event offers us the opportunity to highlight the Spanish southeast as the most reliable, sustainable and technological production area in the cultivation of lettuce in Europe. Our objective is to create a space in which producers, distributors and processors from different countries can analyze the trends and challenges faced by the sector from the productive, economic, distribution and gastronomic side. Without a doubt, the fact that we have been given the opportunity to lead this action highlights the importance that the fruit and vegetable companies in this productive area have for the country as a whole."
Not in vain, Proexport has always taken care of its presence at this fair and for years has been collaborating with the organization of 'Biofruit Congress', which will celebrate its sixth edition promoted by the magazine EuroFresh Distribution, and is positioned as a reference in sustainable production and organic agriculture. And with the help of Fruit Today, the association's stand will once again host the delivery of the Internet Stars Awards, which recognize companies in the fruit and vegetable sector that strive every day to have a good presence on the Internet.
