Galletas Gullón closes 2024 with a balance sheet exceeding 300 million euros in exports

 

Gullón cookies, one of the main European manufacturers, has closed the 2024 financial year with a turnover of 690 millones de euros, which represents an increase in 9,5 % compared to the previous year. This growth is due to productive efficiency, innovation and a strong commitment to export. According to Juan Miguel Martínez Gabaldón, CEO and general manager of Galletas Gullón: “We have been planning to promote our healthy products for a long time. And once we have achieved success at a national level, we are exporting it to the rest of the world.”

 

The company has managed to overcome the 300 millones de euros in exports, representing the 44 % of its total turnover.

 

 

This advance positions foreign sales as a key lever for its future growth. “We are exporting to more than 125 countries and we have subsidiary companies in Portugal, United Kingdom, Italy, France and the United States" adds Martinez Gabaldon.

 

Looking to the future, Galletas Gullón plans for its exports to exceed national sales by 2030. To this end, they have committed a significant investment to expand their logistics capacity and improve their production facilities until 2026.

 

In terms of employment, the company has exceeded the 2.100 direct jobs, transforming temporary contracts into permanent ones and investing more than 9 millones de euros in improving working conditions. In addition, the creation of a new 300 new jobs for the new production lines planned for 2026.

 

Galletas Gullón continues to consolidate itself as a strategic player not only for its capacity exporter but also for its commitment to local development and the sustainable transformation of the Spanish agri-food sector.
