GAM The leading Spanish multinational in comprehensive solutions and services for industry, has announced solid results for the first quarter of 2025, exceeding 73 million euros in revenue. The company reported a turnover of 73,5 millones de euros, representing a 9% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth was achieved with a significant 17% reduction in investment (CAPEX), down to €13,9 million, thanks to its focus on operational efficiency and the positive impact of the project. REVIVER.
EBITDA reached €18,7 million, with a 25% margin on sales, while EBIT stood at €4,8 million. Despite a net result of -€0,3 million, explained by the extraordinary costs of the start of its REVIVER strategic project and a temporary decrease in activity in markets such as Mexico and Saudi Arabia, management is optimistic.
Pedro Luis FernandezGAM's CEO emphasized that these figures represent a one-off impact. "We are laying the groundwork for a more efficient, recurring, and sustainable business model," he stated.
Robust Growth in Key Strategic Lines
GAM's diversification across its business areas has been a key pillar of its performance. Distribution and after-sales led the growth with €26 million in revenue (+15%). Renting and outsourcing also showed significant growth, reaching €21 million (+11%) and now representing 29% of total revenue. Rental and services, meanwhile, totaled €26,5 million (+2%).
This diversified model reduces GAM's dependence on specific economic cycles, strengthening its resilience and improving its financial stability.
Efficiency and Sustainability: Pillars of GAM's Future
In line with its roadmap toward capital optimization and the circular economy, GAM has achieved a 17% reduction in its CAPEX investment, thanks to the REVIVER project. This initiative, which houses Europe's largest machinery remanufacturing plant, extends the lifespan of equipment, reduces the need for new acquisitions, and improves the return on capital employed.
The company manages more than 40.000 machines, 82,8% of which are zero-emission, and has a contract portfolio exceeding €240 million, with a renewal rate exceeding 90%. This ensures high revenue visibility in the medium term. Furthermore, GAM has more than €20 million in closed distribution orders that will materialize in the coming months, further consolidating revenue visibility in the short and medium term.
The REVIVER project, although still resource-intensive in its second year of implementation, is expected to generate significant returns in the medium term, consolidating sustainability as a key driver of future returns and efficiency for GAM.
