GBfoods Africa Holdco BV., the joint venture created by GBfoods and Helios, has acquired assets from different African companies including leading brands such as Jumbo (the African Avecrem), Gino and Pomo (tomato), and Jago (powdered milk and mayonnaise), as well as distribution in Bama Africa (mayonnaise). The agreement also includes the acquisition of three production plants in Africa, one in Ghana and two in Nigeria, and the incorporation of more than 600 workers of different nationalities. The result of this agreement is a leading pan-African culinary products company with a presence in more than 30 countries in the world. Africa.

With this operation, GBfoods reinforces its leadership position as one of the groups with the greatest international influence in the food industry, consolidating its commitment to Africa.
