Global Open Innovation: ICEX and IETeam Launch the First Open Innovation Excellence Program to Boost Internationalized SMEs

 

The program is designed as a tool of excellence to train top executives (CEO or innovation managers) in the design, leadership and implementation of open innovation modelsThis discipline is understood as the structured and sustainable capacity of organizations to integrate talent, technologies and external solutions (of startups, research centers, global corporations, etc.) in their corporate processes.

 

In a global context marked by rapid technological change, sustainability challenges, and increasing competition, the program seeks to provide companies with the collaborative capacity necessary to strengthen their growth strategies and consolidate competitive advantages.

 

Practical Methodology and Personalized Roadmap

 

Global Open Innovation will be developed through ten in-person training sessions at the facilities of ICEX in Madrid, starting next November 4th and ending on December 4thThe methodology focuses on applied training, including diagnostic and strategic planning tools, supported by personalized guidance from expert tutors.

 

Participants will receive a practical and personalized open innovation roadmap, which will serve as a starting point for advancing its collaborative innovation agenda. In addition, the program will facilitate the exploration of ecosystems of startups, hubs and international programs, identifying connection opportunities, being inspired by national and international success stories, and discovering emerging technologies and trends.

 

Requirements and Open Call

 

The program is aimed at Spanish companies that meet criteria of excellence and potential, including:

• Have a turnover greater than 20 millones de euros.

• Have international activity.

• Commitment to participation by senior management (CEOs or innovation managers).

• Show a strategic interest in adopting open innovation models.

 

The call to participate in the first edition of the program in Madrid is open and interested companies have the deadline to register next month. October 27ICEX and IETeam plan to hold up to three editions in total, in different locations.
