As part of FITUR 2025, which is held in Madrid Since last Monday, the Cajamar Group has renewed its commitment to Spanish tourism industry. During these days, a delegation headed by Eduardo Baamonde, Chairman of Cajamar, actively participates in strategic meetings to address the needs of the sector. These include significant challenges such as current geopolitical tensions, new inflationary forecasts and the urgent need to adopt sustainable practices.
Under the leadership of Eduardo Baamonde, Cajamar focuses on the global and local demands of the sector, facing challenges such as geopolitical tensions and inflation.
Cajamar's Commercial Director, Francisco Martinez, underlined: “They will always have the support of the entity in their aim to contribute to the promotion and development of responsible and sustainable tourism from an economic, social and environmental point of view.” Furthermore, he emphasized that “Technology, digitalization and talent retention are the levers that will drive the strategy for the growth of the tourism model in the coming years,” concluding that “All agents must be able to energize the environments where we carry out our activities.”
Cajamar has established a sponsored space together with the Spanish Confederation of Hotels and Tourist Accommodations (CEHAT) and the Hotel Technology Institute (ITH), This has become a key point for entrepreneurs in the sector. In this context, financial solutions adapted to the current needs of the tourism market have been presented. These include specific lines for sustainable investments such as photovoltaic solar energy or efficient water management systems.
The fair will continue until the end of this week, being an essential platform for promoting strategic alliances within the international tourism sector.
