Moldtrans Group exceeds €146 million in turnover

 

El Moldtrans Group, a leading integrated transport and logistics operator, has announced a 2024 financial year-end turnover of 146 millones de euros, which is a 8,15% growth compared to the previous year. The company not only celebrates these solid results, but also reveals ambitious expansion plans for 2025, including the opening of New strategic logistics centers in Madrid and Barcelona.

 

This growth has been driven by a strategy of diversification of services and constant territorial expansion. While the ground transportation remains the fundamental pillar of the group, representing 70% of its business, the area of Sea & Air Freight (SAF) has experienced a significant growth, now accounting for 21% of the total. The development of island transport and integrated logistics services has also contributed significantly to this growth.

 

During the past year, Moldtrans strengthened its logistics network by Acquisition of Red SLA in Guadalajara, Centrum in the Canary Islands, and the goodwill of Aries Logistic in BarcelonaThese additions were integrated into Moldstock, the group's logistics subsidiary, expanding its service capacity and national coverage.

 

In addition, a new one was opened in 2024 New 3.300 m² logistics center in Massamagrell (Valencia), equipped with cutting-edge technology to enhance logistics, transportation, distribution, and customs outsourcing services in the Valencian Community.

 

 

The Sea & Air Freight area experienced strong momentum thanks to increased demand on key international routes such as China, the United States, Brazil, Hong Kong, Mexico and India.

 

 

Likewise, the Logistics and Customs Division accelerated its development after the Moldtrans Group joined the European Customs Services Alliance (ECSA).

 

The company also reaffirmed its commitment to excellence by obtaining the SQAS certification in three of its branches, ensuring the security of its logistics operations in the chemical sector.

 

Looking ahead to 2025, the Moldtrans Group plans to maintain its upward trajectory, with the aim of achieving a turnover of 160 million eurosTo achieve this, the company will invest significantly in new infrastructure, with the launch of a 20.000 m² logistics center in Barcelona (with an investment of 15 million euros) and another of 17.000 m² in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid)These new facilities will optimize transit times and logistics operations, consolidating the group's strategic presence throughout the country. In addition, a new organizational structure will be implemented and the team, which currently consists of 650 professionals, will continue to be strengthened.
