Some of the cutting-edge proposals presented at the Valencia furniture fair
Designer furniture to optimize spaces and with diverse uses, and home gyms that improve quality of life are some of the proposals from the exhibitors of cutting-edge furniture at the Habitat Valencia Forward fair.
Straight lines, stainless steel and aluminum, and the colors black and white dominate the trends in this type of furniture, which is ergonomically designed, functional and versatile.
"Young people are looking for a casual product, with a balance of prices but with high-design pieces," according to one of the exhibitors, who is presenting at the fair chairs and sofas made of stainless steel combined with leather in both white and black and chocolate color.
Another exhibitor, which offers the possibility of furnishing a home completely, shows as new products a wall shelf made of plastic with a methacrylate back and a storage shelf with a transparent glass door that opens inwards.
Visitors can discover variations of basic furniture such as a bookshelf whose shelves have been tilted to offer a different view.
Also present at Hábitat are some outdoor furniture items, such as a box-shaped seat whose interior can be illuminated, and companies present at the fair but exhibiting their outdoor furniture in an alternative space such as the Turia river to show the product "live".
This collection includes beach chairs, garden cabins, pergolas with a modular system, and floor lamps made of aluminum and polyethylene.
In seating, straight lines in black and white lacquered structures designed with ergonomic principles are the choice of companies, who opt for colors such as white, black, wenge and chocolate.
The space dedicated to the avant-garde also hosts exhibitors such as an Italian firm that offers, under the philosophy of body care and well-being, a gym with rotating systems designed to be installed in the home with which more than 200 exercises can be practiced to work specific muscle groups in one square meter.
