The main objective of this meeting is the international promotion of products and companies in the agri-food sector, as well as promoting sales in certain foreign markets of special relevance for the food and beverage industry in our region.

The Society for the Development of Cantabria, SODERCAN, and the Chamber of Commerce of Cantabria invite companies in the agricultural sector of the Autonomous Community to the first International Buyers Meeting, which will be held on October 17 and 18, 2023 at the Magdalena Palace in Santander.
Each participating company will have an individualized agenda of business meetings with potential buyers and will be able to have an exhibitor to show their products. Later, on the second day, buyers will travel to Cantabrian companies to see their facilities.
This event, included within the framework of the International Promotion Action Plan 2023 of SODERCAN, is carried out in collaboration with the Spanish Federation of Food and Beverage Industries (fairy tale), the Food Quality Office (OCAS) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAP).
The FIAB will be the body in charge of organizing the personalized agendas of the meeting between buyers and the products of the participating companies.
The main objective of this meeting is the international promotion of products and companies in the agri-food sector, as well as promoting sales in certain foreign markets of special relevance for the food and beverage industry in our region.
For this reason, for the development of this meeting of international buyers and agricultural companies it is essential that the products that are exhibited and that will be the subject of negotiation are manufactured in Cantabria, being optional and recommended that the participating companies have a website. , preferably with translation into English and/or documentation in that language.
Purchasing managers from around a dozen companies from different countries, interested in identifying new suppliers, will be invited to the meeting.
Cantabrian companies interested in participating must complete the registration form before July 13, 2023.
