Iberia will fly again Tokyo in 2024, recovering the only direct connection between Spain and Japan. The Spanish airline will offer three weekly flights between Madrid and the Narita International Airport, starting October 27, 2024.
Flights will operate on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from Madrid, and on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays from Tokyo. The journey will last approximately 15 hours and 30 minutes.
Iberia hopes that the flight to Tokyo will be a success and that it will contribute to strengthening its commercial relations with Japan
Due to the closure of Russian airspace, Iberia has had to adjust the route of its route to Tokyo. The detour will go around the world, since customers who make a round trip with Iberia will fly on the way through the south and return through the north of Russia, through the Pacific and Arctic Ocean.
The return of Iberia to Tokyo is good news for travelers who want to connect directly between Spain and Japan. The Spanish airline will offer a comfortable and efficient option to travel between both countries.
Iberia's direct flight becomes a competitive option for business and leisure travelers.
