ICEX Spain Export and Investments and Indian School of Hospitality (ISH) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU). The agreement, which has been echoed by various Indian media such as the Economic Times or the Financial Express, contemplates the collaboration of both entities in different areas such as hospitality education, gastronomy and cultural exchange.
ICEX's division in India also stated on its social media that this agreement "lays the foundation for collaboration in developing the Spain brand in the Indian agri-food sector." ISHFor his part, he highlighted on his social media that "thanks to this partnership we will gain a vision of Spain's wines, gastronomy and heritage like never before."
Kunal Vasudeva, co-founder and director of operations of ISH, indicated that this agreement with ICEX "is not a mere collaboration (...) The enriched curriculum, along with international knowledge, will forge professionals who will also be ambassadors of cultural exchange."
For its part, Lucia Paternina, economic and commercial counselor at the Spanish Embassy in New Delhi, He indicated that this collaboration "aims to establish a solid and fruitful relationship with ISH" and also highlighted that "ISH students, destined to occupy leadership positions in the gastronomic and hospitality sector in India and the world, will become ambassadors of Spanish gastronomy with a multiplier effect in the future."
