Focused on students from various training centers
The International Logistics Hackathon award, organized by ICIL and various universities and educational centers in Latin America and Spain, aims to encourage the transmission of knowledge and the professional development of students studying disciplines related to Supply Chain.

Last Thursday, June 8, at the DFactory, ICIL, together with 12 entities from six countries (Spain, Peru, Colombia, Panama, Mexico and Ecuador) celebrated the awards ceremony for the first edition of the International Logistics Hackathon, focused on students from various training centers.
The universities and centers that have participated in this initiative have been: Universidad del Rosario, Universidad de Lima, Universidad Católica San Pablo, University of Barcelona, University of the Americas, Universidad del Norte, ITSE, Institut Les Salines, Institut de Logística de Barcelona (ILB), Institut el Prat Educació, CETYS University and ILERNA.
The students, organized into international teams, proposed solutions to three problems and challenges of real companies and, subsequently, the projects were evaluated by a international jury.
A total of 92 students from the aforementioned universities and training centers participated in the hackathon, who were organized into 14 multi-center teams.
The winners of this first hackathon will receive scholarships to carry out different ICIL training programs in Spain and Latin America.
Three prizes were awarded: winning project, first runner-up and second runner-up.
The winning prize went to team 10, with the Brainitex Industries project, formed by Fernanda Calle Revilla (San Pablo Catholic University), María José Correa Lucero (Logistics Institute of Barcelona), Cosme Jesús Eningo Mambo (Logistics Institute of Barcelona) , Alejandro Gata Martín (ILERNA, Seville) and María Pimentel (ITSE, Panama).
The first runner-up prize went to team 4, with the Totlogi project, formed by Paula Dorado (Institut Les Salines), Pau Guiu (Prat Educació), Laura Juliana Rodríguez Contreras (Universidad del Rosario) and Adrián Villa (Institut Les Salines).
The second runner-up prize went to team 11, with the Truckpool project: No empty truck, formed by Daniel Bravo Oviedo (San Pablo Catholic University), Alexandra Camacho Cisneros (Logistics Institute of Barcelona), Daniela Roda Rivas (Logistics Institute of Barcelona), Paola Sánchez Gavilán (ILERNA, Seville), Joel Serrud (ITSE, Panama) and Birjoo Zea Revilla (San Pablo Catholic University).
