Ifema, chosen by the European Commission to host the International B2B Meetings “Business Beyond Borders”

Open to companies from all over the world

Only 10 trade fairs worldwide will host these international bilateral meetings on Energy and Environmental Technology Transfer.

IFEMA has been selected by the European Commission as the only Spanish trade fair operator to host the organization of the B2B Meetings “Business Beyond Borders”, on the occasion of the event that will be held from February 28 to March 3, and which brings together two fairs from sectors linked to technological innovation and the environment –Generation and Air Conditioning -.

 

This initiative will be inaugurated on February 28 by the Secretary of State for Energy within the framework of GENERA 2017 And which will be continued at other international fairs in various sectors, will offer registered companies and cluster representatives interested in expanding their activities abroad an agenda of international bilateral meetings on Energy and Environmental Technology Transfer with potential business partners from Europe and other countries.

 

The meeting, organized by the Business Beyond Borders Consortium composed of EUROCHAMBRES, EMECA,  UFI  y LOW:, and that  It has the support of an important network of partners and organizations, which include, in addition to IFEMA,  la Madri+d Foundation, Madrid Network, and the Chamber of Commerce of Spain, is open to companies from all over the world, especially SMEs operating in the energy and environmental sector, that wish to participate in this initiative with the aim of helping them operate internationally, and increasing their business and activity within and outside Europe.

 

This B2B meeting agenda will be complemented by an interactive, international conference featuring speakers who will provide the most up-to-date information on the sector's technical and policy aspects. Registered companies will also receive professional assistance. in situ to tailor their participation to their needs, and will have access to a well-positioned international network, including several EU-funded support programs.

 

For the start-up of Business Beyond Borders, the European Commission They have selected 10 trade fairs from around the world. In addition to IFEMA, representing Spain, the following operators that organize trade fairs in the sector around the world will participate in the project:  Spinteligent, in South Africa; Messe Frankfurt, in France; Comexposi, in France; Fiera Milano, in Italy; Nuremberg Messe India, in India; Fidae, in Chile; Messe Styuttgart, in Iran; Hannover Fairs, in Australia; and Messe Stuttgart, in Germany.

                                

Each event lasts two days and is structured with a minimum of half a day of conferences and a minimum of one day of business meetings. In the last year, 140 meetings have been held, 240 technology profiles have been presented, and more than 100 public and private organizations have participated. In 2017, more than 200 company profiles were registered, representing potential business partners within the European Union and worldwide.   

 

 

The international nature, specialization, and technological innovation that the Genera y Climatización event brings together have been key to selecting this unique event in Spain to carry out this initiative aimed at supporting the internationalization of SMEs.
