Ibero-American companies and institutions are increasingly committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR), as revealed by III Observatory of Sustainability in Ibero-America, prepared by EAE Business School, CEIB and FIJE. The study, presented at the headquarters of CEOE, highlights that 63,3% of the companies surveyed have a specific area dedicated to CSR, which reflects greater consolidation of this area within the organizational structure.
The commitment to CSR is also reflected in the increase in the budget allocated to these actions. 11% of companies have a budget allocated exclusively to CSR actions of more than 1% of their income, while for 38% this item is less than 1% of the turnover figure.
The III Observatory of Sustainability in Ibero-America also shows that CSR is becoming a strategic axis for companies. Thus, 96,9% of the companies participating in the research agree that, to consolidate CSR, it is necessary for it to permeate transversally in all areas and 9 out of 10 agree that CSR will be consolidated as a natural form. of doing business based on the idea of shared value.

Challenges of CSR in the era of 'polycrisis'
The study also identifies the three main challenges that Ibero-American organizations face in the next three years: climate change (40,8%), the economic crisis (37,2%) and the ciberseguridad (36%).
Success stories and good practices in CSR
After the presentation of the report, a round table was held in which the actions and good practices in terms of sustainability and CSR of various organizations and companies were highlighted.
Conclusions
The III Observatory of Sustainability in Ibero-America highlights the growing commitment of Ibero-American companies and institutions to CSR. The consolidation of CSR in the organizational structure, the increase in the budget allocated to these actions and the conversion of CSR into a strategic axis are some of the trends observed in this area.
