The Alicante company Ijes Solar, specialized in the design and construction of photovoltaic installations, has successfully completed the installation of a large-scale solar power plant in Mont-de-Marsan, a town located in the south of France, in the New Aquitaine region. This project, known as Pouy Nègue solar farm, has been promoted by TotalEnergies, one of the world's leading energy multinationals.
The project, which reached a total power of 45,5 MW, is part of TotalEnergies' strategy to expand its renewable energy portfolio in France. Ijes Solar has been responsible for leading the entire technical and construction process of the installation, demonstrating its experience over 10 years in the sector. Its engineering team, based in Castalla (Alicante), was responsible for the custom design of the structures, adapting them to the specific characteristics of the terrain.
