Important water treatment projects in Uzbekistan offer opportunities for Spanish EPC companies

Important projects for water purification and industrial water treatment in Uzbekistan, looking for Spanish companies who can act in engineering, construction and administration tasks (format EPC).

 

Drinking water and industrial water treatment projects

 

Eduard Gulian indicated that they are currently working on two large initiatives for the treatment of industrial water (purification facilities for a textile factory) and purification of water for urban supply, they are being managed and administered by ACIR Southern Europe. 

 

“Given the high demand from a greater number of companies for the various stages of the plan, we have begun the search for Spanish companies in the water treatment sector to participate as EPC (engineering, supply, installation, start-up and maintenance). Each of these projects are endorsed by the offering institutions with state support and are around, in the case of industrial water treatment, around 5,2 million euros and in the case of water purification around 10,8 million. million euros,” he indicated. 

 

These ventures are developed thanks to the interaction mechanisms between Spanish and Uzbek companies that ACIR Southern Europe has been implementing in recent years.

 

Spanish EPC companies for projects in Uzbekistan

 

As reported by the project office of ACIR in Tashkent, are currently in the process of attracting a greater number of EPC companies in the water and industrial waste treatment sector. Those interested in participating can send their applications to acir@aci-r.com

 

The essential requirements to participate are the following:

  • Experience in participating in international projects (preferably outside the European Union)

  • Possess international quality certificates (ISO and others)

  • Have a portfolio of executed actions

  • Own, state, bank or other guarantees (letters of guarantee)

 

For their part, ACIR specialists in Uzbekistan will take care of all administrative and tax procedures so that companies can work in the country under improved conditions.
