In three months it has exceeded expectations
Inaugurated on June 11, 2007 by Air France from Paris, Air France's 14th direct destination in the United States exceeds the company's forecasts.
Nearly 32.000 passengers have traveled on this new route, attracted by the schedules perfectly adapted not only to business trips but also to leisure travel, allowing for quick connections to major European destinations and the rest of the world.
Flights are operated with the airline's own Airbus A330-200 aircraft, equipped with the New Travel Spaces, with 219 seats: 40 in Business Class and 179 in Economy Class. Flight AF046, a daily service during the summer, departs at 13:20 p.m. from Terminal 2E at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and arrives in Seattle the same day at 2:35 p.m. local time. On the return trip, flight AF041 departs Seattle at 14:55 p.m. and arrives the following day at Terminal 16E at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport at 11:40 a.m. local time.
Starting October 28, Air France will offer five weekly flights on this route during its winter schedule, operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The 10:40 AM departure from Terminal 2E at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, arriving in Seattle at 12:05 PM the same day, will allow Air France customers to fully enjoy their afternoon in Seattle. The return flight will depart Seattle at 14:05 PM and arrive at CDG at 08:50 AM.
Seattle, the economic center of Washington State, located in the northwestern United States on the Pacific coast, has been chosen "Best big place to live" (the best city to live in) by Fortune magazine.
