Inditex opens its first For&From store in Mexico

Inditex has taken a significant step towards social inclusion by opening its first store For&From in Mexico. Located in the shopping center Samara Shops of Mexico City, this store is part of the group's effort to create commercial spaces that promote labor integration people with disabilities. This initiative began in 2002 with a store Massimo Dutti in Palafolls, Barcelona, and has since grown to include other brands of the group such as Pull&Bear, Bershka and Stradivarius.

This new space is managed by CONFE, a local entity with more than 46 years of experience that represents a network of more than 100 organizations in Mexico. Nine people with different disabilities work in this store, who actively participate in a model that is sustained by the sale of products at reduced prices. The profits generated are entirely destined to finance social projects.

To date, For&From stores have generated employment opportunities for more than 850 people with disabilities and have raised more than 8,5 million of euros to support social projects. In addition to the positive economic and employment impact, these stores seek to raise awareness about the importance of inclusion and accessibility for people with disabilities.
