Indra revolutionizes air traffic management in Indonesia

 

Indra, the global technology and consulting company, has taken a significant step in its expansion into Pacific Asia by being awarded a crucial contract to modernize air traffic management infrastructure in Indonesia. This project represents a significant step forward for the asian country, which seeks to optimize its airspace and improve the efficiency of its air operations.

 

The centerpiece of this contract is the implementation of the Indra's ManagAir system in the control center Jakarta, one of the two nerve centers of management of the air traffic in Indonesia. This automation solution, recognized worldwide for its effectiveness and reliability, will allow the country to more efficiently manage more than half of its airspace.

The modernization will allow Indonesia to adopt 4D trajectories, a technology that calculates more precise and efficient flight paths. Indra's presence in Pacific Asia extends beyond Indonesia. The company has already deployed its technology in three of the four control centers that manage Indian airspace, one of the busiest in Asia.
