Navantia and Indra have signed a collaboration agreement this Tuesday to jointly develop and market digital systems and solutions in the areas of Defense and Security, an initiative with which both companies will strengthen their export capacity and boost their position in Defense Europe.

 

At an event held at the headquarters of the Center for Higher Studies for Defense (CESEDEN), the agreement has been signed by Indra, its president, Marc Murtra, and its CEO, José Vicente de los Mozos; and on behalf of Navantia, the president, Ricardo Dominguez, and the director of Systems and Services and director of Technology and Digital Transformation, Donato Martínez.

 

Navantia and Indra will jointly explore opportunities to increase national technological sovereignty and its international projection in the field of new digital solutions, as well as in naval and non-naval systems. The companies will collaborate both in the naval field, especially in combat systems, and in the Land field, with a view to programs such as Brigade 2035, BLET (Logistics Base of the Army of the Land) or MC3 (Modernization of Command, Control Systems and Communications).

 

The agreement will also make it possible for companies to guide their investment and development lines together with the objective of optimizing their positioning in the market. With the agreement, mechanisms are created for Navantia and Indra to work together on differential solutions in areas such as the combat cloud, digital twins, intelligent logistics and sustainment 4.0, cybersecurity and cyberdefense and advanced simulation environments, as well as new technologies. enabling.
