Ingeteam completes the commissioning of a new locomotive in Poland

The Traction Business Unit has completed the commissioning of the new diesel-electric locomotive designed by PESA for which Ingeteam has supplied the traction and control system.

The onboard traction cabinet includes two inverters, a brake chopper, an auxiliary inverter (200 kVA) and auxiliary equipment (HEP): All equipment has been integrated to minimize space and weight.

TCMS is based on the concept Plug and Play.

The implementation has been developed at the PESA facilities in Bydgozsz (Poland) for 4 weeks. Currently the locomotive is in the process of homologation in Poland.
