Speakers
Benjamín Martínez – Business Intelligence Director, ClarkeModet. Over 25 years of professional experience in industrial and intellectual property (IIP), primarily focused on advising public entities and corporations on management strategies. Professor of economic theory at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and a frequent speaker at IIP conferences. He has worked in engineering and training companies, and at the High Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJ Madrid).
María José Reyes – Regulatory Regional Manager Europe, ClarkeModet. Senior consultant with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and in vitro diagnostics sectors, working in quality, regulatory, clinical research, and compliance departments. She has led cross-functional teams in various countries and multinational companies. She is recognized for designing quality management systems, achieving ISO 13485 and 9001 certifications, and optimizing operations in quality, process efficiency, MDR, and new requirements in Switzerland and the UK.
Rada Ivanova – Advisor, International Department, Madrid Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services. Responsible for European markets and the EEN project. 18 years of experience in the field of business internationalization and institutional relations. Holds a degree in Political Science and Public Administration, with a solid background in international relations and the European Union, from a political, historical, economic, and legal perspective.
Jacobo Pérez-Soba – Manager, Single Window for Internationalization (VUI). He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and a Master's degree in Foreign Trade from Comillas University. He has over 30 years of experience in international trade and the internationalization of companies in markets across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Central America. Since 2020, he has been promoting the internationalization of Madrid-based technology startups through the VUI, a public-private partnership supporting businesses in Madrid.
Óscar Salazar – Managing Director, Euro-Funding. PhD in Molecular Biology (UAM, CNB-CSIC), Expert in Management and Promotion of International R&D&I Activities (UPM), and Executive Master's in Business Administration and Management (EAE and UB). Over 15 years of experience in basic research in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries: drug discovery (Merck & Co.) and development of molecular diagnostic kits for clinical use (Biotools, Genómica SAU). Extensive experience in managing and preparing European projects. He directs Euro-Funding EU Projects and coordinates the team of consultants in the promotion, preparation, and management of European projects. EU external evaluator.
