La internationalization and innovation are key factors to generate competitiveness and productivity in the Spanish medium-sized company, this is one of the conclusions of the “Annual Report of the Spanish Medium Enterprise” presented this Wednesday in Madrid by Circle of Entrepreneurs.

 

“The vectors that drive business activity are innovation and internationalization, regardless of the qualifications of the managers and other more cultural issues,” he noted. Yolanda Fernández, Technical Director of the Medium Enterprise Project of the Círculo de Empresarios. He has also explained that growing outside the local market generates benefits for some Spanish companies whose productivity exceeds the average of the European Union.

 

 

During the information day, the “Top 50” ranking of medium-sized companies, a group of highly profitable companies that coincide in being “increasingly geographically delocalized, either using online sales or that have gone from being exporters to having subsidiaries abroad.”

 

However, it is worrying that despite the economic recovery, the intermediate business fabric is not increasing nor is the size of companies increasing, for this reason and as the Businessmen's Circle continues to demand that public administrations eliminate fiscal, labor and bureaucratic barriers that hinder the growth of companies.
