Banco Santander in collaboration with Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Transport and Commerce, the New Market Prospecting and Internationalization Area de SODERCAN have held a virtual day under the name “Foreign Exchange Market: Evolution and Perspectives.”
They have participated in it Joaquín Fdez.-Palacios, International Business Director of Cantabria – Asturias of Banco Santander; Raquel Manzanares, Director of New Markets SODERCAN; Beatriz Tejero, Economist at Banco Santander; Marina Valcarce Corchero, Head of FX Desk at Santander Spain and José Soler Anguiano, Head of FX Cantabria. They analyzed the macro environment and the main catalysts that affect the evolution of the main currencies in the coming months.
It is important to be informed since when leaving the the euro area, when it comes to exporting and entering new markets there is a exchange rate risk management.
Both entities have the mission of contributing to the support of internationalization of companies to achieve a more competitive and resilient productive fabric in the face of difficulties. They highlighted that in these turbulent times, they want to provide an approach to companies by bank specialists.
