During his speech at the inauguration of the largest business event in the foreign sector in Andalusia, Extenda Global 2020, which is celebrated for the first time in 100% digital format, Moreno has assured that a good part of the brand Andalucía and the reputation of our land outside our borders comes from the role it plays extend.
In this way, he has asserted that the foreign sector is a crisis-proof refuge value and he has pointed out that thanks to its strength Andalusia has managed to remain one of the most exporting communities in Spain with a logical drop in exports, but somewhat less than that of the national average and much less than that of the main exporting economies. of the European Union. Specifically, he has clarified that German exports have fallen by 25,5%, those of the Netherlands 17,7%, French women 20,8% and Italian women 22,3%.
“Our foreign sector has been able to inject a surplus of more than 2.000 million euros into the Andalusian economy, compared to the trade deficit that Spain maintains abroad, which amounts to 9.000 million. All this has been achieved thanks to the strong dynamism of the Andalusian export sector,” he added.

El andalusian president has pointed out that, despite the tumult of this year, the number of regular exporting companies registered until the month of July has remained practically the same as the same period in 2019, these companies accounting for 94% of Andalusian exports, which reflects that Andalusian companies are reactivating abroad despite the harsh impact of the pandemic.
At this point, he stressed that regular exporters have the full support of the Andalusian government to enhance their strategies, while stating that all Andalusian exporters, as well as SMEs and micro-SMEs, must put all their efforts into developing a internationalization strategy that turns them into exporters when they are ready for it.
“The data proves that those companies that decisively bet on the foreign market reduce their risks, achieve success, are more robust and competitive and generate higher quality employment. Saying it is easy, doing it not so much anymore, even more so in this time and with a business fabric like ours, made up of 95% SMEs and microSMEs,” he added.
That is why he has offered them all the support of the Andalusian government to drive this process through extend because, as he has said, “it is the best strategy for their companies and the best strategy for Andalucía".
Along these lines, he recalled that in Andalusia the International Active Program that contains a Export Opportunities Map, an Individual Support Plan in all the internationalization process, with expert advice specifically focused on digital commerce.

Likewise, he has referred to the Improvement of Extenda Services to contribute to the liquidity of companies with measures worth 1,5 million euros in the form of refund of fees and super reduced single rate and to the Extenda Andalusia Network, which for the first time, provides it with a permanent presence throughout our territory through a network of expert agents whose mission is to incorporate at least 1.400 companies into internationalization in their first year.
“This, together with the experience accumulated by Extenda's new digital and market approach, the increase in public-private collaboration and joint work with the CEA and Chambers of Commerce will give rise, before the end of the year, to the approval of the Internationalization Strategy of the Andalusian Economy 2021-2027 with which the foundations will be laid for the Andalusian foreign sector to take a new qualitative leap in this decade and be that engine of recovery and economic growth that Andalusia needs for its advancement and progress,” he added.
Finally, he has indicated that in this time we live in, marked by the fight for world hegemony, the Brexit and the pandemic, companies and governments that bet on internationalization will be diversifying their risks and, therefore, will have a greater guarantee of success and growth than those that rely on everything.
For his part, the advisor to the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior, and president of Extenda, Elijah Bendodo, indicated that in Extenda Global "Andalusian companies can access in just 48 hours strategic information on up to 62 markets and knowledge of the current international trade framework that obtaining it in any other way would imply a high cost of time and money."
Likewise, he highlighted that it is “the opportune place in which to learn about and take advantage of the strategies and support that the Andalusian Government, through Extenda, to enhance the internationalization of Andalusian companies, how are the program Active International, approved by the Government Council in July; with short-term measures to reactivate exports, which includes measures to contribute to the liquidity of Andalusian companies worth 1,5 million euros; and the Extenda Andalusia Network, which seeks to incorporate 1.400 companies into internationalization in its first year of life.”
