The main customs office in La Guaira handles more than 1.000 containers

828 containers are serviced at night

The manager of the Main Customs Office of La Guaira, Venezuela, José Alberto Gómez Mogollón, reported that last week 322 containers left during the day and an approximate average of 828 at night.
He stated that they have seen an increase in the movement of goods, as evidenced by the 1.300 containers that left last Wednesday and Thursday, with the aim of dispatching the merchandise first thing in the morning. Finally, the official explained that the operation was the result of a working group comprised of representatives from the Heavy Transport Chamber, warehouses, customs brokers, and importers, who requested that the transport of goods be expedited during this holiday season.
