Pevesa is a biotechnology-based company with expertise in the enzymatic technology of plant-based proteins for extraction and production of hydrolyzed proteins for life science applications.
20 years ago Peptonas Vegetales (Pevesa) was founded in Seville and patents were obtained in the EU, the United States and Japan. Procedure for obtaining vegetable peptones through high-grade hydrolysates.
PEVESA's strength is the custom development of products with specific characteristics for each client and its objective to become a benchmark for custom production focused on sectors such as Food, Nutraceuticals, Culture Media and Fermentations, Cosmetics or Bioagriculture. This approach means that R&D has always had capital importance in the company. Precisely due to this approach, PEVESA has collaborated for years with research groups from various universities, CSIC centers and, of course, with other companies. The result of these collaborations are the industrial process it uses and the several patents that PEVESA is the owner of and protect the production process both in Europe and in the United States.
Quality is in all cases a key element of the process. This is supported by the ISO 9001 certification that is widely implemented in the company.
With their own facilities, they use the latest technology to offer their clients a complete range of proteins and special hydrolysates for the different markets they work with.
