Conference held at ICEX
Companies are sought capable of addressing tenders in areas such as clean energy, smart cities or cybersecurity.
More than 30 billion dollars will be allocated in the next five years by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) to move towards a more sustainable system, and to do so they are looking for companies capable of addressing tenders in areas like clean energy, smart cities or cybersecurity, which generates great opportunities for Spanish companies, as explained in the conference held this Wednesday at the ICEX - Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade within the framework of the Climate Summit.
During the meeting, the Dubai electricity and water authority explained to the Spanish companies the strategic plan through which they intend to achieve sustainable development objectives, an area where Spanish companies have a lot to contribute. “One of the elements that most characterizes Spanish companies and where we have fundamentally managed to put ourselves at the forefront, is not only technological excellence but also to develop consortium projects, to develop public-private partnerships, that management capacity that we also have to adapt to the needs of the client” he stressed María Peña, CEO of ICEX.
