During the meeting, held at the headquarters of the Spanish Chamber, the secretary general of the entity, Adolfo Díaz-Ambrona, welcomed the Iraqi delegation, led by Abdul Latif Nayef, vice president of the Iraqi Council of State, and Abdulrazaq Al-Zuheere, president of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce.
The meeting focused on highlighting the role of the Chambers of Commerce in the implementation of projects that promote the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) On global markets and the increasing use of arbitration as a mechanism for resolving business disputes. In addition, both parties discussed the possibility of establishing a Bilateral Business Committee, with the aim of "establishing an agenda of activities that promotes the Attracting foreign companies and creating new opportunities,” explained Jaime Montalvo, International Director of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.
This collaboration represents an important step towards strengthening trade relations and creating new business links between Spain and Iraq.
