Impulsa Startup is an innovative program with which the Chamber of Spain and the network of Chambers of Commerce aim to reach 350 entrepreneurs and 250 projects and startups this year.

La Chamber of Spain appears once again in South summit, the annual reference meeting for the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Spain, with its own stand and a program designed for the creation and acceleration of technology companies: Promote Startup.

 

Impulsa Startup: A program for the growth of technology-based startups

 

Promotes Startup, an initiative of the Chamber of Spain in collaboration with 30 Chambers of Commerce, aims to support 350 entrepreneurs this year. The program offers advice, support, accompaniment and mentoring for the constitution, development, growth and expansion of technology-based startups.

 

“Impulsa Startup is a program specifically designed to help entrepreneurs with an innovative and technologically based business idea,” highlights María Tosca, director of Training, Employment and Entrepreneurship at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce. “We offer training of up to 40 hours, as well as personalized tutoring and mentoring with subject matter experts adapted to the needs of each entrepreneur or emerging company.”

 

Chamber of Spain with the help of the Valencia, Madrid, Terrassa, Barcelona, ​​Tenerife, Cáceres, Soria, Castellón, Menorca, Ceuta and Palencia Chambers, has a stand open to entrepreneurs interested in its program for start-ups

 

Two stages for startup success

 

The Impulsa Startup program is divided into two stages:

  • Create and Grow: In this stage, entrepreneurs with a scalable business idea will learn to build a minimum viable product (MVP) through training and mentoring from experts from the Chambers of Commerce. In addition, they will receive mentoring with businessmen and entrepreneurs from the business community of the Chambers of Commerce.
  • Takes off: The second stage aims to promote this year 250 projects and startups that already have a minimum viable product. Participants will continue building their project with specialized tutors and expert mentors, until attending a Demo Day. In this event, the best projects will be eligible for a financial prize of €4.800.

 

Startup Acceleration Roundtable

 

In addition to the presence of the Impulsa Startup stand, the Chamber of Spain has organized a round table within the framework of the South Summit. The round table, titled “Acceleration of emerging companies and product fit”, will take place on stage South Summit Catalyst and will be moderated by Elena Pérez, responsible for Entrepreneurship at the Chamber of Madrid. The speakers will be Karel Escobar, CEO of BackFund; Raul estrada, CEO of Kiota; and Jessica Lelli, responsible for Sustainability at 360 Climate Change Solutions.
