Clínica Baviera's revenue in Germany and Austria reaches €13,8 million

In the first quarter of 2024

Bavaria Clinic has published at market close the results corresponding to the first three months of fiscal year 2024. During this period, the company has obtained revenues of 66,4 million euros, which is 12% more than in the previous year. Likewise, during the first quarter of this year, the operating result (EBITDA) reached 21,5 million euros.

On the other hand, The net profit achieved was 12,4 million euros, registering an increase of 9% compared to the same period in 2023. As of March 31, the ophthalmology company had a network of 112 clinics, of which 75 are in Spain, 29 in Germany (including Vienna, Austria) There 8 in Italy. (Currently this number has been increased by new openings carried out in the months of April and May).

Regarding billing by Business Units, in Spain, Clínica Baviera has invoiced 47,1 million euros and has reached an EBITDA of 15,5 million euros, which has increased by 8% compared to the first three months of 2023, maintaining a margin of 33% on sales.

In this period, the turnover figure for Clínica Baviera's businesses in Germany and Austria, where it operates under the CARE Vision brand, has reached 13,8 million euros and EBITDA has reached 4,7 million euros, which has increased by 8% compared to the same period of the previous year and represents 34% of the sales.

In these first three months of 2024, its centers in Italy have invoiced 5,5 million euros, registering a 26% increase in EBITDA, which has stood at 1,3 million euros and remains at 23% of profitability on sales.
