The journey of the Castellón company Valfortec in the Japanese country, which began to take shape during 2013 with the subsequent launch of chiyoda Just one year later, it is strengthened with the connection to the network of its latest project, Kumamoto Yamaga. With the achievement of this new business milestone, the firm specialized in the development of photovoltaic installations has already managed to connect a total of 6 solar parks on Japanese soil, generating green energy equivalent to 8 MW of power.
The civil works of this new photovoltaic park finished its execution at the beginning of July and it was connected to the electrical grid last Monday, July 25. From that moment on, the facility will generate 1.892 MWh/year annually, the clean electrical energy needed to supply around 700 homes from the vicinity of the plant. The rate applied when marketing energy will be 36 JPY/kWh for the next 20 years.
Kumamoto Yamaga is capable of generating all this power from renewable sources thanks to the brand's 3.420 photovoltaic modules. Trina Solar fixed on the different tables placed on the plot that forms the park. These are connected to a total of 11 inverters from the German firm SMA.
This is the southernmost photovoltaic park that the company Valfortec has developed to date in Japan, since it is located on the island Kyushu (36.782 km²). Kumamoto is located on a 1,42 ha plot of land around the city of Yamaga (Kikukamachi District; Kumamoto Prefecture).
Valfortec's expansion will not pause due to the immediate connection of Kumamoto, but will continue at full capacity with the aim of continuing to materialize more projects located throughout the country.
The rest of the Spanish organization's solar parks on Japanese soil are located, above all, in the central area of the country. The predecessor facilities of Kumamoto son Chiyoda (2014) Yamagata Yonezawa (2018) Saitama Hikigun (2019) Okayama Shimogamo (2020) and Niigata Tokamachi (2020).
Thanks to this recent implementation, a great exercise of social responsibility is being carried out in the most immediate environment of Yamaga, since around 700 tons of CO2 and 5.217 kilograms of SOx will no longer be discharged into the atmosphere annually.
From the company, Fidel Roig (General Director) assures that with this new movement it is possible to 'continue to grow with balance in the second most important market for Valfortec after Spain' and in addition it is also possible to 'geographically expand the company's activity, since with Kumamoto we have managed to spread activity throughout practically the entire country' reflects the founder of Valfortec.
But Valfortec's expansion will not pause due to the immediate connection of Kumamoto, but will continue at full capacity with the aim of continuing to materialize more projects located throughout the country. It is planned that before the end of the current year 2022, a total of 3 more photovoltaic plants will be connected in different geographical areas of the country. Thus, activity in the areas of engineering and execution will continue at a high pace, both in the Valfortec delegation in the capital of the Asian country and in its main headquarters in Castellón.
