The Valencian Community promotes its natural stone sector in London

 

Ivace+i International, together with the association Alicante marble, has organized the joint participation of eight companies from the marble and natural stone sector in the prestigious Surface Design Show, which is celebrated from February 4 to 6 in the London Business Design Centre. This event is a global benchmark for design, architecture and construction professionals.

 

Councillor Marián Cano highlighted the importance of promoting Valencian productive sectors in international competitions as an essential part of a global strategy for the Capabilities business. “It is essential to promote our productive sectors in the main international competitions,” said Cano.

 

 

This initiative seeks not only to consolidate but also to expand commercial opportunities for Valencian companies within the competitive British market.

 

 

For its part, Ester Olivas, Director General of Entrepreneurship and Internationalisation, stressed that this action is part of the Ivace+i International Foreign Promotion Plan. “The objective is to strengthen the promotion of the sector in a strategic market such as the United Kingdom,” explained Olivas. The participating companies do so under the motto Stone gallery, thus achieving a joint visual impact that enhances its collective image.

 

The event has more than 150 exhibitors and expects to receive more than 4.000 professional visitors. As for Valencian exports, these reached 386,49 million euros between January and November 2024, experiencing a slight decrease compared to the previous year. The United Kingdom is positioned as the sixth European destination for this sector during this period.
