For the purpose of internationalization and marketing, specialized funds were allocated to SMEs, associations, and business groups with economic development in the region. The regulatory order is set out in Decree 53/1998.
In foreign trade, the limit for aid to companies is 12 million pesetas annually. 76 projects were approved, representing an investment of 577 million pesetas and a subsidy of 126 million pesetas.
The contribution of aid to promotion, fairs and conventions amounted to more than 169 million of the 114 projects approved with an investment of 605 million.
