Actions in the footwear, tourism and meat sectors stand out

They have signed an agreement renewing their collaboration in order to improve the competitiveness of the province's productive fabric.

Both institutions will carry out different actions to promote the companies in the province and contribute to the development and expansion of the productive fabric, highlighting the promotion and joint actions with the sectors of the Footwear, tourism and meat.

 

In this way, the Huelva Provincial Councilthrough Huelva Company, and the Chamber of Commerce They meet the objective of ensuring that the business sector of the province can open up to new markets, offering participation in the European programs that the provincial and chamber institution will develop, with the co-financing of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) by 80%, while the Provincial Council will co-finance the remaining 20% ​​in addition to offering the pre-financing necessary to make the actions to be developed with the entrepreneurs a reality and for them to open the market by participating in business missions y international fairs.

In this regard, the president of the Provincial Council of Huelva, Ignatius Caraballo, has recalled that both the Chamber of Commerce as the Provincial Council "We are driven by the same interest in ensuring economic growth and improving the productivity and competitiveness of our companies." To do so, he insisted, "through  Huelva Company We are launching a series of actions that aim to boost and improve the business fabric of the province while creating a favourable environment to foster the entrepreneurial spirit, providing the companies in the province with the contacts and promotion that their activity requires.”

 

Regarding the agreement, the president of the Chamber of Commerce in Huelva, Antonio Ponce, has indicated the importance of continuing this path of cooperation and collaboration between institutions "to take our companies to new markets that enable their expansion and greater performance and competitiveness" at the same time that "we join forces and work together to make Huelva a province that takes advantage of its many possibilities.”

 

The program that is being worked on by Huelva Empresa and the Chamber of Commerce includes actions that will be targeted at companies in the footwear, tourism and meat sectors through different promotional formulas such as presentations abroad, reverse trade missions and attendance at international fairs, with the countries chosen for this purpose being Chile, France, Germany and Italy.
