SOMRIE, a company specialized in real estate personal shopper services, has announced the opening of its first international franchise. The Spanish firm has just opened its first personal shopper agency in Peru, in the city of Lima.
In Spain, SOMRIE is present in six provinces (Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Malaga, Seville and Santa Cruz de Tenerife), and in 2017 it hopes to open new delegations in Santander and Mallorca. It also plans to open new franchises in Mexico and Colombia.
The group closed 2016 with a volume of operations of 12 million euros, 115% more than the previous year, and doubled the sum of the turnover of the years 2014 and 2015, approaching 2 million euros (with the group A.C. SOMRIE). These figures confirm the rise of the figure of the real estate personal shopper among individuals and investors looking for a home.
SOMRIE plans to open new franchises in Mexico and Colombia throughout 2017
The new Peruvian headquarters of SOMRIE is directed by Andrea Postigo Abastaflor, with extensive experience in the real estate market of the Latin American country. As he explains, the arrival of SOMRIE to Peru It will allow buyers and investors in the real estate sector to have personalized advice that they did not have until now. “On many occasions, the buyer is caught in a conflict of interest, with no one negotiating in his favor, with little or no legal and technical advice, losing time and money, and dissatisfied with his purchase or investment. A real estate personal shopper solves this situation, since he positions himself and defends, exclusively, the interests of his buyer or investor client.”
