The Valencian platform LIVE4LIFE, the first to specialize in online rentals for young people and students, continues with its international expantion and already adds presence in the market Miami, Mexico and Dubai. This adds to the offices it has in cities with great student attraction such as Madrid, Valencia, Granada, Seville and the recent Alicante .
LIVE4LIFE is considered the first Spanish platform aimed solely and exclusively at renting young people and university students. In addition, online business takes precedence, reflecting the evolution of the sector and where it will develop thanks to new technologies.
In total, LIVE4LIFE has managed more than 40.000 properties and more than 5.000 owners, whose main interest is in making a profit without renting their home causing inconvenience or added work. “The tenant seeks to live peacefully in his new temporary home, but the landlord's position is the same,” he indicates. Alberto Añaños, CEO of LIVE4LIFE.
According to the company, one of the keys to success is adapting to the new characteristics of students. Increasingly oriented towards consuming online, with the need to obtain information almost instantly and with the option of having accessibility at all times, the new methods of renting housing follow these principles.
Online rental requires the highest quality images of the home and/or room. The option of interacting with a 360-degree view taken at home is also becoming increasingly relevant. And all with the immediacy of being able to reserve. “Speed in accessibility is key. Young people are already used to acting like this and the economy must adapt,” says the expert.
Despite the different crises of recent years, university students continue to catapult the sector. The numerous training opportunities, the easy communication to be able to study in another Autonomous community or province, and the family support they usually receive have been fundamental in this growth.
“The university student is the best possible tenant. You know that at the end of the course he leaves the apartment and that you will not have problems with non-payment or squatting, because they always have a family behind them to support them. And furthermore, the new Housing Law does not regulate these prices as they are temporary rentals, so they are even more beneficial for the owner,” says Añaños.
The Valencian company, a national benchmark in university rentals, plans to continue implementing new technologies in its operation to facilitate the organization of tenants and continue adapting the company to market developments.
