The 2025 International Tourism Fair kicks off with the presence of the Kings and Brazil as a partner country

 

La International Tourism Fair (FITUR) has begun its 45th edition in IFEMA MADRID, marking a key event for the global tourism sector. The official opening was attended by Their Majesties the Kings of Spain, who were received by José Vicente de los Mozos, Chairman of the Executive Committee of IFEMA MADRIDAccompanied by a large delegation made up of ministers, government representatives and world tourism leaders, they toured the pavilions to learn about the innovative proposals presented by companies and destinations.

 

This year, Brazil stands out as the official partner country of the event, occupying a prominent place in Pavilion 3. During the opening ceremony, the Brazilian Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino, together with the Director-President of EMBRATUR, Marcelo Freixo, and the Brazilian Ambassador to Spain, Orlando Leite Ribeiro, welcomed the Spanish monarchs at their stand. “It is an honour for Brazil to be a fundamental part of this edition,” he said.
