The Granada-based Grupo Trevenque opens a subsidiary in Mexico and already exports to 20 countries

From the new subsidiary it will serve the Latin American market

Andalucía have a great moment in the international markets by reaching the record figure of 24.992 million euros in exports in the first seven months of 2022, with a growth of 26,9% compared to the same period of the previous year. This is thanks to companies of international success like grenadine Trevenque Group, which has more than thirty years of experience in the information and communication technologies sector.

 

“We work in three main areas: publishing, in which we provide services to distributors, bookstores and publishers; home help, in which we provide support to companies and public entities that provide this service; and, thirdly, the area of ​​general ICT solutions, where we make our data center, consulting, business intelligence or public relations services available to companies”, José Fernando López, director of Trevenque .

 

The Granada company was born in 1992 with the aim of responding to the need for computer services of those small companies “that could not take on specific personnel for it. We wanted to be their IT department,” explains López.

 

The company grew by 15% during 2021, so that its business volume exceeded 8,5 million euros last year, of which international turnover accounted for 5%.

 

Today it is a firm that has 134 employees with highly specialized profiles, especially computer scientists and engineers, and that has experienced significant growth thanks to the incorporation of companies, such as Kaplan, as well as its international expansion, with the opening of a subsidiary in Mexico. “We export to more than 20 countries, our main focus is Latin America for the book sector, providing service from our headquarters in Mexico,” continues José Fernando López.

 

The company grew by 15% during 2021, so Its business volume exceeded 8,5 million euros last year, of which international turnover accounted for 5%, points out the group's director, 51% more, thanks to the takeoff of the Latin American market, according to data from its latest corporate report.

 

Another of the company's gems is its Cloud Center, the main data center of the South of Spain, which has increased its business volume by 21%. “The company has more than 1.800 clients, such as Covran; the AZ Group or Arnoia, in the field of editorial distribution; while in the area of ​​home help, we work with the City Council of Barcelona and Provincial Council of Seville; and in the area of ​​infrastructure support, we support companies such as Rovi Laboratories”, points out the manager.

 

Throughout its international career, Trevenque has had the support of Extenda-Andalucía Export and Foreign Investment, with which it has carried out more than 40 actions “almost since the beginning of our activity, such as fairs, trade missions or consulting,” says José Fernando López. “Extenda is a great partner with an international experience and can open many doors because it makes it easier to reach your destination.”

 

Now, the company wants to expand its activity “to local markets such as Malaga or Seville and continue growing in the international market in the business field,” concludes the businessman.
