Generative AI revolutionizes the labor market: one in four jobs will be transformed by 2030

Generative artificial intelligence (GenIA) is marking a turning point in the global workforce. According to recent studies, it is predicted that by 2030, one in four jobs will undergo a significant transformation due to automation driven by this technology.

The irruption of IA in everyday life and in business processes has been dizzying. From simplifying routine tasks to optimizing complex processes, AI GenIA It has established itself as a powerful tool. However, this rapid adoption raises questions about the future of employment.

A global analysis reveals that 18% of work tasks will be affected by automation, which, paradoxically, could translate into a 7% increase in global Gross Domestic Product (GDP) thanks to increased productivity. In concrete terms, it is estimated that GenIA AI will transform 23% of jobs over the next five years, generating a positive impact equivalent to 3,24 million additional jobs by 2033.

However, job uncertainty is palpable, especially in sectors such as finance and manufacturing, where employees express significant concern about job security. Francisco José Moreno Balboa, CEO and founder of Logixs, a Spanish company specializing in generative AI solutions, offers an optimistic perspective: “Generative AI allows for the automation of repetitive (and often complex) tasks that previously consumed a large part of teams’ time. This gives companies the opportunity to redirect talent towards strategic and higher-value activities, thus boosting their competitiveness and efficiency.”

Logixs GenIA highlights that, beyond automation, AI is driving the creation of new jobs. "More than half of employees believe that AI has created new positions that didn't exist before," the company states. Among these new professions are prompt engineers, conversational designers, and AI model trainers—roles that are gaining relevance in today's job market.

The company stresses the importance of European companies, and especially Spanish ones, adopting a mentality "AI Driven" to fully exploit the potential of this technology. Furthermore, it emphasizes the need to promote training in these new capabilities to meet the growing demand for professionals specializing in GenIA AI.

“The integration of AI not only automates repetitive tasks, but also transforms the way we work, freeing teams to focus on strategic and innovative projects. With generative AI tools, companies not only streamline processes, but also unlock new opportunities for growth and competitiveness in a constantly evolving market,” concludes the CEO and founder of Logixs.
