The Andalusian Regional Government will inform around twenty companies about franchise business opportunities in Mexico and Brazil.

Around twenty Andalusian companies will participate in the 'The 'II Franchise Conference in Andalusia', an event to be held by the Ministry of Tourism, Commerce and Sport on October 5th in Seville with the aim of informing the sector about the business opportunities identified in the Mexican and Brazilian markets.


 


For this event, which will take place at the Barceló Gran Renacimiento hotel, the Board He has invited Paulo César Mauro, president of the consulting firm Global Franchise, who will explain the situation from the Brazilian market, and Enrique Alcázar, from the Alcázar & Aranday law firm, who will discuss the existing possibilities in Mexico.


 


Companies attending the event, organized in collaboration with the Andalusian Franchise Association (Franca), will have the opportunity to schedule individual meetings with international speakers to define the specific advantages of each type of business in these regions. The conference will also feature presentations on the experiences of several Andalusian firms in expanding their franchises.


 


Andalusia is the fourth region in terms of the number of franchised brands and establishments, with 11%, behind Madrid, Catalonia, and Valencia. Currently, there are around one hundred franchise chains in Andalusia, which recorded a turnover of €1.539 billion in 2006, 30% more than the previous year. Furthermore,In the Andalusian community, 12% of Spain's service chains are located, since half of the Andalusian franchises belong to the tertiary sector.
