La Extremadura joint has launched the innovative program “Do Business in Portugal”, designed to support local businesses in their internationalization process towards the cross-border market with PortugalThis project, led by the Ministry of Economy, Employment and Digital Transformation through the General Directorate of Business, has as its main objective to offer comprehensive support to 15 selected companies.
The programme will begin with a comprehensive diagnosis of each participating company's cross-border approach. This analysis will allow them to identify their strengths, weaknesses and specific needs in terms of investment and financing. Based on these results, personalized advice will be provided to develop a strategic plan tailored to each entity.
Key areas to be addressed include marketing and merchandising, cross-border taxation, opening new facilities, hiring and access to financial sources. In addition, specialized training sessions will be organized to delve deeper into the essential resources and key concepts related to cross-border business models.
A highlight will be the day dedicated to access to investment, where companies will have the unique opportunity to establish direct contact with public and private investors interested in facilitating their entry into the portuguese market.
This ambitious program is part of the project PAE CROSS-BORDER NETWORK, an initiative co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal Program (POCTEP) 2021-2027.
