The president of the Regional Government of Extremadura, Maria Guardiola, has shown its support for the Extremadura fruit and vegetable sector during its visit to the fair international 'Fruit Attraction', which is being held in Madrid until October 10. Accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Sustainable Development, Mercedes moran, and the general director of Extremadura Avante, Miguel Ángel MendianoGuardiola has visited the stands where more than 30 exhibitors from Extremadura are presenting their products, 24 of them under the umbrella of Extremadura Avante.
Guardiola has highlighted the importance of this sector for the regional economy and has underlined the quality of the fruit and vegetables from Extremadura. “Our fruit and vegetable sector is a key driver of development, and the work of our producers is essential to continue positioning ourselves in international markets,” he said.
