The startup Yuvod raises four million euros to expand its product in the US.

Nearly 40% of turnover comes from internationalization. The startup assures that almost half of its sales already come from outside Spain and that during 2023 the international business will exceed the figures from national clients.

The Valencian company Yuvod, specialized in video platforms, has closed a financing round worth four million euros. Three million come from the US fund Palomar Capital and the rest of the Valencian Institute of Finance and Enisa. The company will use the funds to accelerate its growth in United States during 2023.

Among the investors are recognized business angels such as Bill Luby or Todd Balestro, as well as other funds such as Three Angels. This influx of private capital is complemented by other lines of financing and participatory loans. The new expansion comes after the company has opened business in Latin America during 2022, which has allowed it to double its turnover in that year.

 

With the new financing raised, they will bet on the US market and will continue to establish themselves in Latin America and Europe

 

Be a reference in Latin America

Yuvod aspires to become the reference PaaS in Latin America for any streaming video platform. To do this, it has launched a fully cloud product that takes care of all parts of the content delivery process. With this, those responsible aim to prevent content piracy in the region and democratize access of a premium platform to any exhibitor of audiovisual content.

203% growth in business volume

Growth in the last year has represented 203% in business volume and it is expected to close 2023 with an ARR close to 3 million euros. “This round boosts the confidence of our investors about the creation of a platform that can automate any OTT "that is believed at a global level," he points out. The company offers an end-to-end streaming platform service internationally, in multiple countries such as Mexico, Japan or Czech Republic, among many others.
