The latest generation of digital cameras is now available in Spain

The latest innovation in easy-to-use digital cameras, offering optimal results and high resolution, is now available in Spain. Compact, fully automatic, and versatile, these cameras incorporate a 1,25 million effective pixel CCD (Charge Coupled Device) sensor that produces images with a resolution of 1280 x 960 (1,23 million) recorded pixels in the case of the simplest model, the Fujifilm A101, while the A201 model achieves a 2,0 million effective pixel CCD and 1600 x 1200 (1,92 million) recorded pixels.
The FinePix 2600 Zoom, on the other hand, boasts an ergonomic and compact design incorporating the most advanced digital photography technologies. Like the A201 model, this camera uses a 2,0-megapixel CCD sensor and features a Fujinon lens with 3x optical zoom, equivalent to a 38-114mm lens on a 35mm camera. The camera's features are simple and easy to control, allowing for the production of sharp and precise images.
The FinePix 4800 Zoom and 6800 Zoom models offer top performance within an attractive design, as they were created by FA Porsche.
The two cameras, which produce images of extraordinary definition with intense and true-to-life color reproduction, allow the incorporation of 30-second voice recordings in each image and use them as a PC camera for videoconferencing by enabling online communication.
They can record 80 seconds of video and 30 minutes of audio (with a 16MB SmartMedia card) in the case of the 4800 model and 160 seconds of video and 60 minutes of audio (with a 32MB SmartMedia card) in the case of the 6800. These two new Fujifilm models include a 3x Fujinon Super EBC (f/2,8) zoom lens and offer a macro capability of up to about 20 cm.
The cameras record JPEG images with three levels of compression onto SmartMedia™ cards. Once the image is saved, the user has easy internet access via the FinePix Viewer software. A special mount connects the camera directly to a PC for videoconferencing, transferring images via USB cable, and recharging the battery.
For its distribution, the Japanese company has reached an agreement with the wholesaler Santa Bárbara, which had recently already begun distributing Fuji consumables.
