The International Center of Spanish of the University of Salamanca (CIEUSAL) has launched a specialized course in teaching the Spanish as a Foreign Language, aimed at teachers and future teachers of the India.
The course, aimed at young professionals beginning their career in teaching Spanish, seeks to strengthen the Capabilities of the language and support new generations of teachers. To facilitate participation, 20 scholarships have been awarded to attendees.
During the opening of the event, the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Cooperation, Raul Sanchez PrietoShe highlighted the importance of this initiative to "strengthen the role of Spanish globally and provide key tools for training new teachers in an expanding market like India." For her part, the director of CIEUSAL, Susana Azpiazu TorresHe reaffirmed the university's commitment to "the international dissemination of Spanish and the support of educators who are the foundation of its growth."
The academic director of International Cooperation, M.ª Cruz Sanchez Gomez, was also present at the opening ceremony, where international collaboration was valued as a way to develop Spanish language learning in different regions of the world.
