The Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry of Ghana, Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei, stressed the important contribution of the Spanish companies to the growth of his country, highlighting the impact of his investment in key sectors such as information technology, manufacturing and infrastructure. During the Spain-Ghana business meetingThe Deputy Minister recalled that “Ghana has become Spain’s leading trading partner in West Africa”, also highlighting the democratic stability of her country and the government’s efforts to foster a favourable environment for sustainable investment.

The Secretary of State for Commerce of Spain, Amparo López Senovilla, agreed to highlight the commitment of Spanish companies in Ghana, stating that “Ghana is an allied country for Spanish investments in the West African regionas evidenced by the presence in the country of more than twenty Spanish companies with a long-term commitment.” He also highlighted the recent creation of the 'Africa Advances Alliance', an initiative aimed at boosting sustainable growth in West Africa by encouraging Spanish investment in high-potential sectors such as telecommunications, agriculture, and infrastructure.
Immaculate RieraThe director of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce highlighted the "appropriate policies" implemented by the Ghanaian government to correct economic imbalances and reaffirmed the commitment of Spanish companies to key sectors such as renewable energy, transportation, and new technologies. "In Spain, Chambers of Commerce and business organizations work to help our companies build a stronger presence in Africa," Riera added.
Marta White, president of the CEOE International Relations Commission, also emphasized Ghana's potential as one of the main investment destinations in Africa, pointing out the importance of advancing bilateral agreements to avoid double taxation and protect reciprocal investments.
