La Xunta de Galicia, through the Ministry of Economy and Industry, has published the resolution of its call for aid for innovative business groups, allocating almost 2 million euros to 19 strategic cluster projects.
These grants, which can cover up to 70% of the investment with a maximum of 400.000 euros per project, will allow clusters to develop plans aimed at the digitalization, Capabilities, sustainability y intersectoral cooperationAmong the beneficiary projects are groups from sectors as diverse and crucial as the automotive industry. (CEAGA), biotechnology (Bioga), naval (Aclunaga), the ICT sector, aquaculture and the circular economy (Viratec), which underlines the breadth of the program and its focus on high-potential areas.
The support will cover up to 70% of the investment and will allow for the development of plans aimed at digitalization, internationalization, sustainability, or intersectoral cooperation.
The call will not only fund the implementation of specific projects, but will also support market research, technological monitoring platforms, and outreach activities, in order to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing. With this new investment, the Xunta reaffirms its bets on an advanced industrial policy, which has already mobilized more than 17 million euros since 2013 to support cluster initiatives, thus strengthening the Galician economy and promoting knowledge and innovation.
