Galician exports at historic highs
The evolution of Bodegas Godeval is a reflection of the excellent moment for Galician foreign trade. Covadonga Toca reported that Galicia closed March 2025 with an export volume exceeding €2.746 billion, 12% more than the same month in 2024. This figure represents the best monthly figure of the year, consolidating the growth trend following record foreign sales in 2024, which exceeded €31.000 billion. This growth, higher than the national average, underscores the Galician government's commitment to the international projection of its companies, especially in key sectors such as the automotive, textile, and agri-food sectors, which include wine.
To further promote this objective, the Xunta is allocating €12,5 million this year to support Galician companies' exports. Active programs include Galicia Exports Companies, which provides funding for international fairs and foreign marketing campaigns; Galicia Exports Intermediate Organizations; and the FOEXGA program, which mobilized more than €2024 million in 2,3 alone and enabled 274 companies to participate in nearly seventy trade missions in 43 countries.
New active FOEXGA lines and support for tariffs
Currently, the FOEXGA program has two active lines: one for SMEs with an international digital presence, offering grants of up to 70% for trade fairs and missions; and another for large companies, promoting their participation in international exhibition events.
