The Free Trade Zone of Cadiz celebrates its 95th anniversary by highlighting its new stage of innovation

 

La Cádiz Free Trade Zone commemorated its 95th anniversary with a central event at the Congress Palace, chaired by the First Vice President of the Government and Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero. In his speech, Montero praised the Institution's trajectory and highlighted its transformation: "After 95 years of experience, the Free Trade Zone Consortium is currently a differentiating element of innovation and commitment to the environment." He also highlighted the financial recovery achieved in recent years, mentioning that the institution has overcome a critical economic situation and now enjoys a promising future.

The State delegate, Fran González, welcomed the attendees and expressed his pride in leading an institution that has been able to overcome economic difficulties and project itself into the future. “I am proud that Cádiz has an institution like the Zona Franca, and I am grateful for the daily commitment of the team I work with,” said González.

 

The day ended with a networking session in which companies established in the Free Trade Zone shared their experiences, highlighting the key role of the institution in their Business development.
